Your first CV has more material than you think
The blank-page problem for students is not a lack of experience — it's not recognising the experience as relevant. A part-time retail job is cash handling, conflict resolution and shift reliability. A group project is stakeholder coordination under a deadline. A society treasurer role is budget ownership.
For a first CV, education goes above work history, and a short section on projects or coursework usually does more work than the jobs themselves.

What graduate recruiters screen for
